Partially Built NorseBoats

Would you like to save money and have the experience of building your own NorseBoat Sailing & Rowing Cruiser? We now offer standard NorseBoats in partially built form for owner completion.

The package includes:

•High quality lapstrake fibreglass hull with gelcoat finish and interior bonded in
•All pre-cut wooden components to finish the interior and deck with minor trimming and fitting
•Fiberglass boat cloth layer as abrasion resistance for deck
•steam bent wood coaming (requires some woodworking skill to install)
•All interior and deck hardware
•All sailing components pre-assembled, including carbon mast, mainsail and Harken hardware

The only things owner builders need to supply are epoxy, paint/varnish, and other consumables. Only basic carpentry and epoxy skills and a modest selection of woodworking tools are required.

All options for our standard NorseBoats are also available for kits (click here for NorseBoat Options).

NorseBoat Kits can be shipped on trailers or cradles to destinations worldwide.

Customers who wish to receive instruction while building their NorseBoat Kit can attend one of our Owner-Builder Workshops in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.
